Lately, I've been really into reading books on Graphic Design. I received the book "Logos That Last" by Allan Peters for Christmas. It was such a great book, filled with so much wisdom, guidance, and beautiful logos.
Here are some memorable quotes from the book.
"To be clear, this book will not teach you drive and passion. You need to bring those to the table if you want to succeed. Everything else can be taught." (Logos That Last, Peters, 2023, p.10)
"One way that I test a logo to ensure that it is universally beautiful is to mock up a potential brand mark on a hat. I then ask the client if they would be proud to wear it as a hat. If the logo is aesthetically pleasing, they should want to wear it as an accessory." (Logos That Last, Peters, 2023, p.29)

"When I'm out badge hunting, I am looking for these specific things: unique badges, bold brand marks, and custom typography." (Logos That Last, Peters, 2023, p.70)
"Just like you learned in algebra class, everything on the left side of the badge should be balanced with the right side of the badge." (Logos That Last, Peters, 2023, p.89)
"Every client deserves your best. Don't give up before you start." (Logos That Last, Peters, 2023, p.158)
Honestly, the whole book was quote worthy and inspiring but these are the moments i wanted to highlight. Here is the link to buy his book!
